THIS SATURDAY night (Jan 24), we’re kicking things off with a grunge/alternative OPEN JAM from 6–9 PM, hosted by @derekdonkers . Whether you’re bringing your own sound to the mic or just coming to soak in the atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to spend your Saturday evening.

Then, on Sunday, Jan 25, we’re keeping the momentum going with a YOUTH OPEN MIC from 11 AM–2 PM, hosted by @nicolemagnish257 — a supportive and encouraging space for young voices to share their talents and build confidence.

Next week, get ready to move 💃 On Thursday, Jan 29, join us for LINE DANCE NIGHT with @spiritmovz !! from 6:30–7:30 PM. For just $10, you can dance the night away and learn fun line dances with their wonderful instructor, Michelle — no experience needed, just good energy and for sure some comfy shoes!!

Last Friday’s Open Jam was a blast!!!😆

We met so many talented musicians, performers, and poets, and it was a reminder of how much creativity exists right here in Sarnia.

Seeing people show up for one another, share their work, and feel supported in the room is exactly what we hoped this space could be.

From seasoned performers to people stepping up to the mic for the very first time, every set mattered. That’s the kind of energy we want to keep building.

Watching our family’s vision slowly come to life has been incredibly meaningful. None of it would be possible without the people who believed in this new & unique style of restaurant/venue.

In the Pocket was always meant to bring together our love for food and our love for creative expression—music, poetry, art, and everything in between.
